Redevelopment, production optimisation

Globally there is an increase in investments to enhance recovery on existing fields, a trend that is reflected in the IPRES service projects.

In this later phase in the value chain, we use IPRISKwell and forecast to optimise important decision parameters into the IPRISKfield simulation models. In particular we specialise in evaluating timing and value of alternative IOR/EOR scenarios and campaigns of new development wells using one or several drilling rigs.

In addition we handle uncertainties/risks on full scale redevelopment projects, to support decisions on how subsurface scenarios impact on the upgrade of process and transport capacities, also including new technology such as booster pumps, seabed processing, etc.

This can involve tie-in of new reserves from nearby discoveries and future drilled prospects. To optimise the tie-in process, we have developed specialist competencies in monitoring the large time span to the end of field life and to simulate the correct volumes of liquids and gas to fill available capacities

In addition to the operational type projects, we specialise in accurate production and reserve  forecasting as part of the business cycle reporting on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis. This can be aggregated, following international standards, on a well by well basis on single or multiple fields, and stored in our database, IPRESOURCE, from which preset management  reports for KPI's are easily available.
